Adjust the Focus

Happy Easter Sunday QueenSiS! I’m enjoying a beautiful dayclean, meditating on the importance of refocusing each day. It took me five tries to get my license, and I don’t think I’ll ever win driver of the year, but I do remember one thing from driving classes: always adjust the mirrors before starting the car.

It can be hard to notice sometimes, but the tiny shifts in direction from the previous day (or the previous driver) can have big consequences for my ability to see clearly and avoid traffic incidents. In the same way, I’ve noticed that along the course of each day things can happen to cause tiny shifts in my focus, which can lead me to spend valuable time and energy on things outside of my purpose and priorities. But give thanks I can make adjustments to my focus at anytime, in order to keep going in the right direction. #ReFocus
