Accommodations

The iconic Tracy Chapman has a song I love called Save A Space for Me.  It always reminds me of that spirit of care and accommodation. Making room or space for others can be such a beautiful act of service. But women of African descent in America often shoulder more than a fair share of accommodating.

This dayclean I’m meditating on how do I know when to make accommodations? Praying for clear guidance on habits I can practice to enhance my discernment, so that I don’t over-accommodate or open myself up to negative energies. #savespace
