Class is in Session

I may be an educator, but there is still so very much I want to learn in this life. Languages (Twi, Kiswahili, French - for real this time!), swimming, quilting, succession planting, karate, piano…the ‘would love to learn this’ list is long.

Teach Me by the dynamic Dinah Washington is in the background this dayclean, reminding me of my dear and most beloved Dorothy Thomas Thweatt. Aunt Dot was the embodiment of old classy glamour, but she was willing to learn almost anything new, especially from the young people around her. I’m meditating on the many ways I can emulate that approach as a #lifelonglearner.
