She’s All That

Happy International Woman’s Day QueenSiS! I’m kicking off this dayclean in celebration with the wonderful Whitney Houston’s take on Chaka Khan’s  I’m Every Woman . Deeply meditating on how blessed it is to reflect and represent the African and feminine of The Divine. Hello beloved and beautiful Black Madonna.

Despite all of the old old lies, and new old lies about the unworthiness of Black women, I know who I am and I know what I can do, because I’ve watched our grandmothers, mothers, aunts, sisters, and  myself make it happen so many times in so many ways. This is the valuable truth behind the ‘I’m every woman’ mantra’, knowing that we have the beneţt of so many women in our past and present to hold up as our mirror even if the world around us refuses to reŤect our value. #Herstory
