Princess Wishes

The title ‘Queen’ comes with a lot of responsibility - heavy is the crown indeed. It is not made for princesses. The Queen of Soul (may she test in power) teamed up with Ms. Lauryn Hill in 1998 for A Rose Is Still A Rose.  I love the line ‘babygirl you’re still a flower’ because it reminds me to remember that I was a little girl once.

I’m learning that as I proceed on my queen’s journey, it is okay and useful to honor the princess inside of me. To not forget the little girl and the young lady who had big dreams, butterŤy wishes, and not too many cares in the world. Her heart was light, her feet skipped and danced, she climbed trees, sang and laughed with ease. I need some of that energy every now and then! #princesswishes
