Stewardship

Despite my firm commitment to do what I can to rest my nerves as a certified 92%er, it is hard to ignore the ever-escalating warmongering in our country and our world. So much of the problem is about territory, power and ownership.

If we consider that the Divine Creator made everything, then we would have to admit we don’t truly ‘own’ anything. A more useful concept than ownership might be stewardship. That concept suggests we are here on this earth for just a period of time (perhaps for different periods of time, in different manifestations) with unique gifts that we should use to make the world, the earth, and our lives in it more beautiful and bountiful because of our presence.  I wish somebody would cue up MJ’s Man in the Mirror for the world’s leaders. #entrusted
