Now Faith

I’m meditating on faith and the condition of our country this dayclean. It is becoming more crystal clear each day that this place and these conditions were founded upon male Eurocentric supremacy ideology; they were not created with my thriving in mind.

And yet, even now I’m hopeful. I still sow my seeds and tend to my fields - literally and figuratively speaking. I am convinced my great-great-great grandmothers sent the word that we will survive, and we can thrive in this generation and beyond if we keep the faith. So of course I’m putting Brother Twista and the Faith Evens on repeat for the day, cuz we Hopeful! #NowFaith
