Never Alone

Tribe is on my mind this dayclean QueenSiS. I think I enjoy alone time a bit more than the average person, but even my very introverted half-plus understands the purpose and power of having a tribe. Turn up dear Brother Beverly, cause We Are One indeed.

Ubuntu is an African (Bantu) philosophical principle often interpreted as ‘I am because we are’. If there’s some good to come out of the bad happening in our society in this season, I think it will have to do with the recentering of our tribes and communities as primary sources of wealth and well being, the keys to helping us truly thrive in a diverse world. When I think about the regenerative, innovative, cultural, and healing expertise of the tribes I’m connected to, I know I’m rich beyond measure, and never alone on this earth. #tribe
