Know Before You Grow

We live in a society that values the surface qualities of youth (mainly looking and feeling young, especially for women), but I give thanks for growing old.

This dayclean I’m meditating on the ways I need to learn as I grow older. I think there is a big difference between growing older, and becoming an elder, and a commitment to lifelong learning is probably a big part of that difference. I’m committed, not just to add value to my life, but also because next generation needs elders. #lifelearninglegacy
