African Celebration Tradition
I dreamt last night about a Gullah Geechee event in my community. I don’t often recall my dreams, but I’m glad I did just now because it’s so related to this dayclean’s devotion topic, reminding me that I’m in beautiful divine alignment.
One of the things I love love love about being a part of the Gullah Geechee culture is our African celebration traditions. These traditions served not only to commemorate various occasions, but to also transfer knowledge and values across generations, to strengthen, support, and sustain a people. We would all be well served by reclaiming and reinstituting some of the many African celebration traditions in our families and communities QueenSis. The next generation is indeed in need of strength, support, and sustenance! #ACTforthefuture
