Water Carry(Her)

It’s a beautiful Soft Soul SiStar Sunday and I’m meditating on the ways I’m a water carrier. In many developing societies, this  is a literal task, difficult and repetitive work, most often shoulder by the women.

In our American society, we generally have the benefit of modernized plumbing, but there are still critical resources and information that need to be collected and carried from one point to another, and women are often the ones tasked with completing this hard work as well. I’m giving thanks and loudly reminding myself that I get to choose to do what is needed (rest, restoration, and more) to keep my divine water vessel leak-free, and be discerning about what water I will carry. #WaterCarryHer
