Stop Signs & Womanist WinsDay with Mrs. Liz, Dorneisha, and Leyla

This Womanist WinsDay I’m meditating on warning signs! I recorded this week’s podcast episode in person with QueenSiStar Dorneisha (and her mother and daughter). She took one look at me when I walked in the house and said “oh you are tired, you need to rest!” I’m glad I took the time to record their beautiful episode for the DDQ Mother Daughter series, and I’m glad for this reminder that I need to watch out for stop signs.

I feel like have so much purpose, so many gifts to use up before I transition, and there is much that truly needs to be accomplished with my help. But there are also clear signs I must pay close attention to, signs from within and from others that tell me it’s time to stop and take a break, or even take a different direction. I’m going to modify the podcast schedule to a bi-monthly pace going forward, and make some other adjustments in my schedule so I can have more room to rest. #StopSigns
