Work Play Day

It’s dayclean on what is usually “Service Saturday” for me. I’m easing into the day, and feeling that hit from Kindred the Family Soul some kinda way: it sure would be nice to get far away from here, far away from here.

Most of us can’t just drop everything and go on vacation whenever the ‘get away and play’ mood hits. But I’m meditating on the fact that I can choose to structure my days in ways that allow for more moments of calm and enjoyment. And I’m choosing to believe that a part of the resistance work I’m doing is to help create a reality where rest and recreation are routinely available to us all. #ReCreate
