Blessing in the Storm

Wrapping up July this week - it’s been a wild weather month, and the next few are likely to bring even more storms. I’m meditating on the literal and figurative storms I’ve weathered in my life.

I’ve learned that storms have the ability to show me what I am made of, what I am standing on, and who I am standing with. The blessings from the storms I’ve  faced in the past did not really become clear to me until the next storm came and I was more prepared, more assured, and more resilient than before.
