Speak Easy

Meditating on speaking easy even in the face of injustice this dayclean. The lovely Lauryn Hill sings in Tell Him , “Now I may have wisdom and knowledge on earth. But if I speak wrong then what is it worth?”

I’ve learned the hard hard way that being right is not nearly enough sometimes QueenSiS. When I feel certain I’m right about matters of injustice, I want to shout it from the rooftops and shout down to damnation anyone who does otherwise. But everyone is not at the same point on this journey. And everyone is not able to hear or receive the same messages as intended. I’m learning that wisdom involves knowing what is right, and knowing when and how to say what is right. #SpeakEasy
