Fear Less

Anxiety is on my mind this dayclean QueenSiS. She is a most unwelcome but familiar visitor. The list of things that can cause me sustained anxiety is long. So I must be diligent about my practice to manage my fears. I refuse to be robbed of restorative sleep, performance capacity, creativity, joy and peace.  I REFUSE.

This is no easy task, but I’ve come to learn that it is very much possible to fear less, even while in the moment of fright. And I believe with practice I’ve put myself  on the path to being fearless. Sometimes, just saying the words I am fearing less can help me regain a sense of calm. Like SiStar Emeli Sande’ suggests in Read All About It, I have power over my reactions when the darkness of fear shows up: I can always turn on my own light. #FearLess
