Parenting & Adulting

I’m meditating on adulting this dayclean QueenSiS - on my role as a daughter who helps support aging parents, but also my role as a parent of a young(ish!) adult child. Whew lordt, issa job just putting into words what these roles entail!

But I give thanks that I’ve been assigned the awesome responsibility of raising, mentoring or sponsoring young adults on my life’s journey.  I am learning more each day how importance it is to be balanced and flexible. And how valuable it is to remember what I needed or wanted when I was a young adult. Even if I did not always receive what I needed, and especially for those times that  I did, it is my turn to pay it forward in love to the next generation. #Adulting
