This is a Test

Meditating on how I test concepts and ideas for authenticity this dayclean. It’s not just due to the advent of “alternative facts” lately, or my research credentials. I think I’ve always been a ‘let me test this theory’ kinda girl, a la Chante Moore in This is a Test.

I’m especially willing to more carefully examine my faith foundations as a person of African descent in America. I think it is wise to consider that everything written in the bible or other religious texts may not be ‘the gospel truth’. This does not mean I throw out everything (all the babies and the bathwater!) from my faith foundations, but it does mean I should question or at least try to test everything I’ve  been told. The gospel truth will hold up well under scrutiny QueenSiS. #testit
