Living and Dying

Life and death on my mind this dayclean QueenSiS. The elders are often known to say ‘life is uncertain, but death is for sure’.  Somebody cue up that ‘old lady sitting under a tree’ in Betty Wright’s No Pain No Gain. While I do hope my days left here will be long, I feel a sense of peace with the surety of death.

I’m also learning that thinking about my own death helps me to live and prepare in a way that will be a blessing to the lives of my loved ones and future generations. And it is helping me to envision and manifest a life that is a true blessing to my own soul’s journey here on earth. Acknowledging that my lifetime is limited somehow enhances living with a sense of purpose and urgency, but not anxiety. #LivingandDying
