Know When To Go

My second home city is opening a new casino, and the lottery jackpot is high, but gambling is on my mind for other reasons this dayclean. I’ve been thinking a lot about staying and going, risks and rewards, the peril and power in the pivot. Cue up that icon Kenny Rogers’ The Gambler QueenSiS.

I believe our legacy and cultural history of sticking it out and making a way out of no way served well in the past. But I think I might be better served in the present and future by taking a different approach. I’m  practicing the habit of tracking my progress in light of my investment of time and other resources, and especially my overall health. This is helping me know when to hold em and when to fold em.  #KnowWhenToNo
