Carrying Water

Since time immemorial Black women have been instrumental in carrying the water for our families, our communities, and our societies. We’ve been carrying the water literally and figuratively:.

Our ancestral mothers devised ingenious ways to ease the burden and balance the load, but someone must always see to the water carrying work QueenSiS. Give thanks for a refreshed spirit and strengthened heart, so I will be willing and able to do my part, and for discernment to know when the water is too heavy for me to carry. #watercarryher
